My Story

Hi, I'm Caroline, the face behind Flowers at Hill Farm.

I grew up on an arable farm less than a mile from Hill Farm, so you could say that growing has always been a part of my life. After moving to Bartington, I started with a small patch growing flowers and vegetables just because I enjoyed it. Before long, I was completely hooked.

In 2024, I decided to grow the flowers for my own wedding. Seeing everything I'd grown from seed turned into arrangements for the big day made me realise this was something I wanted to do for more than just myself. I wanted other people to enjoy seasonal, homegrown flowers too.

So, in 2025, I took on a paddock at Hill Farm and started growing on a much bigger scale (albeit still a micro flower farm!). Alongside perennial flowers and foliage, I grow a wide range of seasonal annuals, and my polytunnel means I can keep the flowers coming earlier and for longer each year.

You'll find fresh bouquets at my honesty flower stand every Friday and Saturday during the growing season, and I also supply florists with wholesale flowers, DIY flower buckets for weddings and events, and flowers for anyone who simply loves having beautiful, seasonal blooms at home.

As the business grows, I'm looking forward to welcoming people onto the farm for bouquet and wreath making workshops.
